Set on the shores of 150-kilometre-long (90 mile) Okanagan Lake, Manteo Resort is comprised of 14, two- and three-bedroom villas and a 78-room hotel. Additional facilities include the 85-seat Wild Apple Grill, with a 120-seat outdoor waterfront patio and 30-seat lounge, and meeting facilities suitable for groups up to 245.
Guests have access to an indoor heated swimming pool, hot tub, mens' and womens' sauna and steamrooms, a fireside library and a relaxing waterfront lounge complete with pool table and bigscreen TV. Outdoors, Manteo Resort features two swimming pools, water slide, three tot tubs, tennis court, putting green, children's playground, private beach, scenic boardwalk and marina.
The resort's exquisitely designed Wild Apple Grill offers the perfect waterfront setting for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Headed by Executive Chef Reinhard Foerderer, the cuisine showcases the regions freshest in-season ingredients and invigorates the tastebuds. Manteo Resort is located in Kelowna on the shores of Lake Okanagan, just a 15 minute transfer from Kelowna's newly renovated and expanded airport. Kelowna is a four-hour drive from Vancouver or a seven-hour transfer from Calgary via the scenic Canadian Rockies. Currently, there are 43 daily scheduled flights in and out of Kelowna from major Canadian cities and Seattle. Service is provided by Westjet, Air BC, Canadian Regional Airlines, and Horizon Air. Starting June 10, 2000, Air Canada begins daily direct service to Kelowna from Toronto.
